Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and hygienic
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and public spaces
- Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department for swift resolution
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Use janitorial equipment efficiently, including vacuums, buffers, and industrial cleaning tools, to achieve high standards of cleanliness
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary, ensuring linens and towels are clean, organized, and ready for use
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning standards in hospitality settings
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial supplies is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues accurately
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is a plus but not required
