Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and sanitary environment within our office facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure all areas are kept tidy, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors. This role is essential in supporting the overall cleanliness and professionalism of our workplace. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers full-time hours and a supportive work environment committed to high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of office spaces, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
- Disinfect surfaces such as desks, countertops, door handles, and light switches to maintain hygiene standards
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly to ensure cleanliness and odor control
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap in restrooms and kitchens
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals safely to prevent accidents or damage
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality work
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve standing, bending, lifting (up to 25 pounds), and moving throughout the workday
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for maintaining a clean environment consistently
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
