Sous Chef Asian Fusion

Overview

The DrunkenWok at Fergs, we serve bold, crave-worthy Asian flavors to hungry crowds before the party, after the game, and late into the night. We’re looking for a sous chef who can bring speed, skill, and flavor to our food truck kitchen. We are permanently located at Fergs - we are not a mobile food truck. We are stationary at Fergs.

**Two Positions Available**

Responsibilities

· Prepare and cook a variety of Asian-inspired dishes using our recipes and standards.

· Set up, stock, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized food truck kitchen.

· Handle high-volume cooking during rush hours with accuracy and consistency.

· Work as part of a small team to keep service running smoothly.

· Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking the truck.

· Occasionally interact with customers when needed (friendly attitude required).

Must be a team player and willing to work in tandem with other team members

Qualifications

· 1–4 years of experience as a cook in a restaurant or food truck; Asian cuisine experience is a plus. Wok Experience is a plus

· Comfortable with wok cooking, grilling, and basic to advanced knife skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.

· Food safety knowledge; ServSafe certification is preferred.

· Positive attitude, reliability, punctual attendance, and teamwork are a must.

Experience:

• Wok: 1 year (Preferred)
• Pan-Asian menu, but we will train.

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Weekend Shift - must have some weekend availability
