We're hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers for a local intermodal driving position based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers daily home time, competitive weekly earnings, consistent intermodal freight, and a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for eligible drivers.
Drivers transport intermodal freight between rail yards and customer locations within approximately 250 miles of Harrisburg. This position is ideal for drivers who prefer early morning start times and are comfortable working weekends.

Pay & Compensation- Average Weekly Earnings: $1,769–$1,904
- Estimated Annual Earnings: $92,000–$99,000
- Mileage Pay: $0.62–$0.67 per mile
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000, subject to eligibility and retention requirements
- Stop Pay: $88 per stop
- Drop-and-Hook Pay: $57 per move
- Holiday Pay: $210 per eligible holiday
- Additional activity-based compensation for detention, yard checks, driver assistance, reefer loads, safety training, and other qualifying assignments
Actual earnings depend on mileage, loads, activity-based pay, and assigned schedules.
Schedule & Home Time- Home Daily
- Early morning start times between 12:01 AM and 3:00 AM
- Available schedules include:
- Thursday–Monday
- Friday–Tuesday
- Wednesday–Sunday
- Weekend work required
- Drivers must be flexible with assigned schedules and start times
- Shift preferences may become available based on seniority
- Approximately 1,565 miles per week
- Transport intermodal freight between rail yards and customer locations.
- Operate within approximately a 250-mile radius of Harrisburg, PA.
- Complete approximately 2–5 loads per day.
- Perform drop-and-hook trailer movements.
- Pick up and deliver freight at rail terminals.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate transportation and delivery records.
- Communicate delays, equipment concerns, and scheduling updates.
- Follow all applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures.

- Manual and automatic transmissions
- Trucks averaging approximately two years old
- Slip-seat operation
- Intermodal rail and customer freight
- Trucks remain at the terminal during time off
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Minimum 3 months of solo tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Must reside within approximately 40 miles of Harrisburg, PA 17111.
- HazMat endorsement required within 60 days of hire.
- HazMat endorsement is not required at the time of application.
- Reimbursement available for qualifying HazMat endorsement expenses.
- Must be comfortable with early morning shifts and weekend work.
- Must be willing to operate slip-seat equipment.
- Must be able to operate assigned manual or automatic equipment, consistent with CDL restrictions.
- Must comply with the account's non-smoking requirement.
- Must meet applicable DOT and company safety qualifications.
- SAP drivers are not eligible for this position.
