Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role based in Philadelphia, PA, for an Afterschool Enrichment Coordinator. The role involves planning, organizing, and overseeing afterschool enrichment activities that support educational and personal development. The coordinator will engage with students, staff, and families, supervise daily program operations, develop schedules, ensure safety protocols are followed, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes managing program resources and evaluating program effectiveness to foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven ability in program planning, coordination, and time management
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
• Experience in supervising educational or extracurricular activities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in problem-solving and conflict resolution
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
• Familiarity with child development and educational support frameworks is an advantage
• Experience in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related field preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience working with diverse communities or youth programs in a cultural context is a plus
