Position Summary
Our client, a large enterprise in the energy sector, is looking for a Lead Enterprise Architect to shape the future of its digital workplace strategy. This person will play a highly visible role in defining how modern collaboration, endpoint management, identity, security, and AI-enabled productivity tools come together across the enterprise.
This is a strong fit for an architect who can operate strategically with senior leadership while also going deep on the Microsoft ecosystem. The right person will understand how to design and govern a secure, scalable digital workplace for a global organization and will be able to translate architecture decisions into clear roadmaps, standards, and business outcomes.
This is a full-time leadership opportunity based in Findlay, OH or San Antonio, TX. Relocation support is available.
Responsibilities
$141,300 – $185,000

Responsibilities
- Define and evolve enterprise architecture strategy for the digital workplace, with emphasis on Microsoft collaboration, mobility, identity, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Create future-state roadmaps, reference architectures, governance standards, and architecture review processes.
- Partner with executive leadership, product teams, solution architects, and delivery teams to align technology decisions with business priorities.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide direction on platform selection, risk, scalability, and secure-by-design principles.
- Drive strategy around Microsoft 365, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and related collaboration platforms.
- Help establish governance for AI-enabled workplace capabilities, including Copilot and Power Platform use cases.
- Influence adoption of architecture standards across development and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with business and operational technology stakeholders where digital workplace and field/plant operations intersect.
- Develop architecture narratives and visual models that leaders and delivery teams can reuse across initiatives.
- Stay current on emerging collaboration, automation, and AI trends and recommend where they can create enterprise value.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of relevant IT experience.
- 5 years of architecture experience in enterprise environments.
- 1 years of experience with digital workplace and AI-enabled solutions.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, Teams, Copilot, and Power Platform.
- Experience with architecture frameworks and governance models such as TOGAF or similar.
- Ability to design secure enterprise environments that connect identity, endpoint management, collaboration tools, and security controls.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, refining, or operational technology environments.
- Background building portfolio-level roadmaps and architectural standards across large organizations.
- Experience partnering with solution architecture teams and product owners.
- Familiarity with conditional access, endpoint security, and enterprise collaboration governance.
