Job Summary: The Graphic Design / Content Lead will be the visionary and executor behind The Dog Stop’s visual storytelling across all digital channels. This role is responsible for driving engaging content that highlights "The Dog Stop Difference" through captivating graphic design, dynamic video production, and innovative social media campaigns. The ideal candidate is a creative powerhouse, a skilled designer, and a strategic thinker who can translate brand pillars into compelling, shareable content that resonates with dog owners and supports our franchisees' local marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design & Visual Content Creation:
  • Lead the design and production of high-quality visual assets for national and local digital marketing campaigns, including social media ads (organic and paid), website banners, email campaigns, and franchisee-facing marketing materials.
  • Ensure all graphic design aligns with The Dog Stop's brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent and professional brand image across all touchpoints.
  • Develop templates and design systems to empower franchisees with localized, on-brand content.
  • Video Production & Storytelling:
  • Conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging short-form video content optimized for social media platforms (e.g., Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and digital advertising.
  • Craft compelling visual narratives that showcase the unique services (daycare, boarding, grooming, training, VIP Program) and the exceptional care that defines The Dog Stop experience.
  • Identify and capture authentic moments that highlight our expertise, safety standards, and the emotional connection dog parents have with their pets.
  • Social Media Content Strategy & Ideation:
  • Generate innovative content ideas and campaigns for organic and paid social media, staying ahead of trends and platform best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media/SEO Manager to develop content calendars that align with broader marketing themes and campaign objectives.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to translate brand pillars (Highlight Each Service, Expertise & Education, Serious About Fun, Emotional Connection) into creative and actionable content plans.
  • Brand & Franchise Support:
  • Act as a brand guardian for all visual content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to messaging standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director, CRM Manager, and Franchise Marketing Coordinator to create content that supports lead generation, customer acquisition, and franchisee success.
  • Provide guidance and support to franchisees on best practices for utilizing provided content and enhancing their local presence.
  • Asset Management & Optimization:
  • Manage and organize a robust library of visual assets (photos, videos, graphics).
  • Analyze content performance metrics and apply insights to continually optimize future content for maximum engagement and conversion.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in content creation, graphic design, and video production, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse digital work.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Demonstrated experience in creating engaging content for various social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, especially as they relate to social media algorithms, advertising best practices, and content optimization.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize ideas and execute them from start to finish, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Excellent storytelling abilities, capable of translating complex messages into captivating visual narratives.
  • Experience working within a franchise or multi-location business model is a significant plus.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • A passion for dogs and understanding of the pet care industry is highly desirable.
