The Dog Social Club Cooperative is hiring!
We are looking to add to both our AM and PM crew! (8 hour shifts are also available after training). The morning shift is from 6:15-11:15 AM. The PM shift is from 2:15-7:15 PM.
- 25 hours/ week available at minimum.
- You must be available to work, at least, one weekend day per week.
- If you aren't available to work on Saturday AND/OR Sunday regularly, please do not apply.

To be a dog handler at Dog Social Club you need a strong love of dogs, and an interest in learning dog behavior and playgroup management. No professional dog experience required, but you should be the person who notices the dog before the person walking it.

Job Requirements:
- Standing/walking for 5 hours
- Comfortable with dogs of all sizes & breeds
- Able to squat and bend
- Must work at least one weekend day/ week
- Over 19 years of age
Dog Handler positions start at $17.50 per hour, with an initial bump to $18.41 after 3 months.
After 6 months of employment, handlers are eligible for training to higher positions including front desk runner, spa, and overnight with $.50-$1 per hour raises at each stage.
Our business is a cooperative, and you are eligible to become a worker-owner after 6 months of employment and successfully passing your dog handler assessment. Worker-owners receive a share of our annual profits, and contribute to decision making of the business.
All full time employees past their probationary period are eligible for 100% employer paid health care, matching retirement savings, and free care for your own (social) dog.
