About Fit Dog Theory
Fit Dog Theory is an established small dog pack-walking company serving the East Bay for over a decade. We specialize exclusively in on-leash group walks for small dogs, focused on safety, consistency, and building trust with every dog in our care.
This is a part-time employee position with a consistent daytime schedule. We provide hands-on training, but we are looking for someone who is naturally responsible, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work.
Position Overview
This role involves leading small dog group walks, transporting dogs safely, and managing pack dynamics in outdoor environments.
Pay: $21/hour
Schedule: 11 hours per week. Three days per week.
Typical hours: 10:00am–2pm (must have availability until 2:30pm)

What to Expect

Requirements (Read Carefully)
- Experience with dogs (personal or professional)
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience with a clean record
- Reliable, insured vehicle (SUV or 4-door car required)
- Comfortable transporting small dogs safely
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to pass a background check
- Smartphone (iPhone or Android)
