Are you a dog lover who enjoys the outdoors and wants a flexible, active job? The Dog Nanny is looking for a reliable, compassionate Dog Walker to join our growing team! Please note we are NOT looking for a seasonal-only walker at this time.
About the Position:
As a Dog Walker with The Dog Nanny, you’ll provide both individual and group walks for our furry clients in the Andover, Tewksbury, and North Andover areas. You’ll pick dogs up directly from their homes, leash them up, and take them on safe, enjoyable walks- rain or shine. Walk durations range from 30 to 60 minutes, so stamina and love for the outdoors are key. **Mileage reimbursement at $0.725/mile included!**
We are looking for a walker 4-5 days per week, Monday-Friday, with walking windows typically between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
What We’re Looking For:
- Comfortable handling all dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Experience walking 3 dogs at one time
- Ability to read dog behavior and body language
- In good physical health- able to walk/stand for at least 3 hours
- Reliable transportation (your own vehicle required)
- Valid drivers license & car insurance
- Ability to pass a background check & possess a clean driving record
- A smartphone (you’ll use our app to manage walks)
- Highly reliable and punctual individual
- Strong time management skills
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Communicate professionally with clients
