About the Role:
- Submit and manage ACC claims and payments
- Process invoices from third-party providers (e.g. Oranga Tamariki, Suremed)
- Manage patient debt and bad debtors, including debt collection
- Assist with budget preparation and oversee monthly medical centre expenditure
- Complete end-of-month and end-of-financial-year reporting aligned to KPIs
- Maintain and update documentation for operational processes
- Manage contracts with maintenance personnel
- Proven experience in a Primary Care setting, supported by a Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Knowledge of MedTech Evolution
- Conduct quality monitoring audits and ensure accurate record-keeping in line with company audit procedures
- Knowledge of ACC claim submissions and payments
- Management of PHO funding streams, including submitting claims and processing payments
- Confidence in quality monitoring audits and ensure accurate record-keeping in line with company audit procedures
- Previous support in accreditation processes such as RNZCGP Foundation and Cornerstone
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong understanding of the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers’ Rights
- Sound knowledge of the Privacy Act
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and financial administration capability
