Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct perimeter checks on foot or by vehicle once an hour, on the hour.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or security breaches.
- Maintain detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Communicate security concerns to the appropriate personnel or law enforcement as needed.
- Ensure all entry points, gates, and fences are secure and undamaged.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations in a timely manner.
- Provide a visible security presence to deter potential threats.
- Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures regarding access control and security protocols.
- Maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
Position Requirements:
- 6 months security experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
