The Dixie Group has multiple positions at our Calhoun, GA facility for sew-on operators.

Duties:
· Operate machine equipment to cut and sew carpet rolls together as the carpet is fed through the machine, a continuous dyeing process.
· Ability to stand for 12 hours and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Be able to work a hybrid schedule.
· Operate a bailing machine to discard carpet waste.
· Ability to multitask and learn other areas when working on a preparation day.
· Be team and goal-orientated.
· Attendance is an essential function of the job. If there is any reason you cannot comply with our corporate absenteeism and tardiness policy, please inform us of the situation.
· You must adhere to the normal work schedule, i.e., starting and stopping times.
· Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
· Light use of the AS-400. Scanning tickets into the system to enter production
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.01 - $18.76 per hour
