Treasury Manager
The Dixie Group is seeking an experienced Treasury Manager as part of its finance and accounting team. The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s cash transactions including:
Managing Relationships with Banks and Lenders - the position is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key financial partners to manage transactions, maintain compliance and mitigate financial risks.
Reconcile Accounts and Record Journal Entries – the Treasury Manager will ensure all cash accounts on the general ledger are reconciled and will make entries as needed to record cash transactions during the month
Assist and Provide Guidance to Financial Team – the Treasury Manager works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and other key accounting management on cash decisions, managing the availability of funds, assessing borrowing needs, determining daily use of cash and forecasting future cash requirements.
Key Requirements:
Experience in treasury functions including cash management, debt management and cash forecasting.
The ability to work within teams as both a leader and in a support capacity will be critical to the success of the candidate in this position.
Effective communication skills is also vital for success in this role. The Treasury Accountant must be able to communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The ability to present financial data to non-financial colleagues in an easily understandable manner is also important.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to make informed business decisions.
In addition to strong analytical and communication skills, candidates should possess technical expertise in financial software and tools. Advanced technical skills in Excel is required and familiarity with JD Edwards accounting software is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a passion to succeed. The ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines will be needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and relevant work experience in Treasury functions. Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) are highly desirable.
