The Delicatessen by Chef Joey is looking for energetic, dependable Bagel Line Cooks to help craft the bagels our guests line up for every day. This is a fast-paced, guest-facing role where speed, consistency, and hospitality matter just as much as the food itself.

From perfectly spread cream cheese to over-the-top specialty creations, you’ll play a major role in delivering the experience that keeps guests coming back.

• Build bagels, cream cheeses, and specialty toppings to brand standards
• Toast, slice, spread, and assemble orders with speed and consistency
• Maintain excellent presentation and proper portioning on every order

• Keep ticket times fast during high-volume shifts
• Double-check orders for accuracy before handoff
• Communicate clearly with teammates to keep the line moving smoothly

• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized bagel line and prep area
• Properly label, date, and rotate products (FIFO)
• Maintain current Food Handler Certification

• Create a welcoming and positive guest experience
• Answer guest questions with professionalism and hospitality
• Represent the brand with energy and pride

• Support teammates and other stations during busy periods
• Restock products and communicate inventory needs
• Complete opening, shift, and closing duties as assigned

• Food service experience preferred, especially deli or line cook experience
• Must be 18 years or older
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Friendly, outgoing, and team-oriented personality
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
• Reliable, organized, and hardworking
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays when needed
• Current Food Handler Card 
• High School Diploma or Culinary School experience is a plus
