What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Department Labor - Full Time position at The Delaware State Fair?
The Delaware State Fair is accepting applications for a Level III Full -Time Grounds Maintenance employee.
Level I – Entry-Level (Non-Skilled Worker)
Performs routine labor and general maintenance duties, including but not limited to facility clean-up, trash collection, and event setup and teardown. Operates basic power equipment such as lawn mowers, pressure washers, and similar tools. Work is typically performed under direct supervision.
Level II – Intermediate (Semi-Skilled Worker)
Performs all duties associated with Level I, with additional responsibility for operating heavy-duty equipment such as tractors, backhoes, and other machinery. Demonstrates increased proficiency, independence, and familiarity with grounds and facility operations.
Level III – Advanced (Skilled Worker)
Performs all duties associated with Levels I and II, and applies specialized trade skills in areas such as carpentry, basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work. Responsible for more complex maintenance and repair tasks, often working independently and assisting in troubleshooting and problem-solving across facility systems.

Pay: $20.00 - $34.00 per hour
