Responsibilities of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
- Unpack incoming items and verify goods against purchase orders or invoices.
- Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped, including weights and shipping charges.
- Count and pack products in various containers, ensuring all components are included.
- Follow specific instructions for packaging and labeling of items.
- Process inputs for receipts and shipments in the ERP system.
- Must have at least a GED.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain dock security.
