Materials / Supply Chain Specialist
Looking for a Materials / Supply Chain Specialist to support sourcing, purchasing, production planning, inventory, and supplier management. This role will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and R&D to improve quality, delivery, lead times, and cost.
Responsibilities
Manage sourcing, purchasing, suppliers, and contract negotiations
Identify and drive direct and indirect cost savings
Create purchase orders and manage expedites, pushouts, and delivery dates
Develop production plans based on backlog, forecasts, and capacity
Manage inventory levels, reorder points, and min/max levels
Support BOM management, work orders, MRB, and ECN activities
Partner with R&D on new product introductions
Track and report key supply chain performance metrics
Support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience
3 years of related supply chain or materials experience
Strong ERP experience; NetSuite is a plus
Experience with supplier negotiations and cost savings initiatives
Experience working with machine or fabrication shops
Experience managing BOMs and production planning
APICS coursework or certification is a plus
Ability to travel 5% to 10%
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
