Position Summary
The Automation and Controls Technician provides hands-on technical support for automated manufacturing equipment and control systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting PLCs, motor drives, and other automation systems, performing preventive maintenance, supporting equipment installations and integrations, and helping ensure reliable production operations. - n:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs and other automated control system
- s.Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, overhaul production machinery, and assist with building and testing experimental equipmen
- t.Provide technical troubleshooting and support for manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain productivit
- y.Diagnose and troubleshoot motor drives, controllers, and related electrical system
- s.Support internal engineering, maintenance, and process improvement project
- s.Perform preventive maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment and automation system
- s.Assist with the installation, startup, integration, and commissioning of new equipment and control system
- s.Maintain accurate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair documentatio

Required Qualifications and Ski
- llsAssociate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a certificate in an electrical-related fie
- ld.Proficiency with PCs and Rockwell Automation syste
- ms.Experience with PLC programming, variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo systems, industrial sensors, and Relay Ladder Log
- ic.Experience with PanelView, FactoryTalk, or other Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming platfor
- ms.Experience performing and documenting preventive and non-routine maintenance activiti
- es.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skil
