Overview of the Opportunity
Daston Corporation is seeking a passionate and driven NetSuite Developer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for implementing, analyzing, modifying, and migrating customizations within NetSuite environments. You will also play a key part in maintaining and enhancing our custom Suite-apps, contributing to the efficiency and functionality of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
As a NetSuite Developer, you will perform advanced analysis and programming tasks, including:
- Creating search interfaces against NetSuite’s API to look up custom records.
- Implementing custom roles within the customer center to allow different access levels.
- Enhancing order processing workflows to easily enable users to complete complex purchases.
- Following established software development processes and detailed project plans.
- Generating accurate work estimates for assigned tasks.
- Taking assignments and direction from agency management and technical lead staff.
- Developing expertise in complex systems quickly.
- Documenting and cross-training CPA staff as necessary to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and proven experience, including:
- Extensive knowledge and experience coding in JavaScript within NetSuite’s SuiteCommerce Advanced platform.
- Specific experience with Bootstrap, Backbone, and jQuery.
- 3 years of experience with web application development and maintenance.
- 3 years of experience with JavaScript.
- 5 years of experience completing system documentation.
- 4 years of extensive experience with highly complex application security requirements.
- 3 years of experience with the NetSuite platform.
- 3 years of experience with SuiteCommerce Advanced.
- 3 years of experience with Backbone.js.
- 3 years of experience with jQuery.
- 2 years of experience with Bootstrap.
- Strong background in programming and testing.
- Quality-conscious with a dedication to delivering quality products on time and on budget.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience working with enterprise software solutions.
- Public sector experience (Federal, State, or Local Government).
- Experience with Google Workspace.
