Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, hallways, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for ongoing needs.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all areas.
- Handle waste disposal responsibly by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to protect yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with custodial procedures and janitorial equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
