Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Infant/Toddler Preschool Teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment that fosters early childhood development. You will implement age-appropriate lesson plans, support children's social and emotional growth, and collaborate with families to ensure each child's success.
Duties
- Develop and implement creative curriculum plans tailored for infants and toddlers, incorporating early intervention strategies and literacy education.
- Foster a nurturing environment that promotes physical activity, social skills, and emotional well-being through engaging activities.
- Manage classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transition activities with patience and professionalism.
- Use effective behavior management techniques to guide positive behavior and address challenges constructively.
- Maintain detailed documentation of each child's developmental progress, adhering to standardized testing protocols when applicable.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate Montessori methods and support childhood development milestones.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills in early childhood education environments.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education activities is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
- Previous private school or daycare experience is a plus; certification in childhood development or early childhood education is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
