- Create a Safe Environment: Ensure a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for infants to explore and learn.
- Plan and Implement Activities: Assist in the development and execution of age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Daily Care: Oversee daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules, while providing primary care for infants and toddlers.
- Engage with Families: Build strong relationships with parents through open communication and regular updates on their child's progress and activities.
- Supervise and Interact: Directly supervise children at all times, using positive reinforcement and engaging in play activities to foster development.
- Monitor Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, and respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents involving children.
- Previous experience in a childcare setting, particularly with infants and toddlers, is typically required.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification or the ability to obtain this within 30 days of hiring.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, nurturing personality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively are essential.
Pay: $13.00 - $16.50 per hour
