Position Overview
We’re seeking a versatile and results-driven person to join our team. This role blends media relations, advertising, digital marketing, and content creation. The right candidate will be equally comfortable pitching stories to national media, crafting compelling ad copy, producing creative campaigns, and managing digital tools that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Relations & PR
- Secure meaningful press coverage for clients by building relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
- Develop and execute PR strategies, write press releases, and manage media lists.
- Advertising & Creative Content
- Write persuasive, audience-driven advertising copy—especially for digital platforms.
- Concept, script, and produce short-form video content (preferred).
- Collaborate on campaign concepts for print, broadcast, and online channels.
- Digital Marketing & Analytics
- Create, send, and track campaigns in Campaign Monitor.
- Research and manage targeted media outreach using Cision.
- Use Google Docs for collaboration and content development.
- Client Collaboration
- Present ideas and results to clients in a clear, professional manner.
- Work collaboratively to brainstorm, plan, and execute campaigns.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to secure press coverage (provide examples or portfolio).
- Proven advertising copywriting skills that have driven measurable results.
- Working knowledge of Cision, Campaign Monitor, and Google Docs.
- Experience writing and producing advertising; video writing/production a plus.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills for multiple formats.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field preferred.
Preferred Experience
- PR, marketing, or advertising background—agency experience a plus.
- Digital campaign development, from concept to reporting.
- Writing and producing video for marketing purposes.
