What are the responsibilities and job description for the SOCIAL SERVICE AIDE W/ CHILDREN AND YOUTH SERVICES position at The County of Adams?
Key responsibilities:
- Provide dependable transportation for youth to classes, activities, and Independent Living related appointments.
- Support preparation, facilitation, and curriculum updates for life-skill classes, activities and one on one IL instruction.
- Assist youth in navigating community resources and state programs.
- Prepare Renter's Program (PREP) curriculum and training materials.
- Develop, maintain, and serves as a point of contact for community partner who wish to donate to the program.
- Provide backup administrative duties when IL office assistant in unavailable.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about empowering youth, highly organized, and comfortable balancing direct support with administrative duties.
Normal work hours are Monday - Friday, 8am -430pm with a 1/2 hours unpaid lunch. It is a full time, 40 hrs per week, benefit eligible position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
Compensation will be determined by education and experience as outlined in the job description, but will not be less than $15.63 / hour
