Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Care for floors by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff
- Follow established safety and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Support the management team with inventory tracking and restocking cleaning supplies
Experience
- Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or steam cleaners is advantageous
- Background in custodial or janitorial work with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Housekeeping management experience is a plus for those interested in supervisory responsibilities
