Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business relationships, maintaining existing accounts, and driving sales within assigned territories. This role requires strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and a proactive approach to meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within convenience stores, gas stations, and retail outlets
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
· Present and promote company products, including tobacco and related merchandise
· Perform in-store merchandising and store resets to optimize product placement and sales performance
· Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
· Manage orders, deliveries, and customer inquiries efficiently
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding tobacco sales
Qualifications:
· Previous sales experience (wholesale, tobacco, or convenience store industry preferred)
· Strong negotiation and closing skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
· Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Full coverage auto insurance required
Preferred Skills:
· Knowledge of tobacco products and industry regulations
· Experience with store resets, merchandising, or planogram execution
· Established relationships with convenience store or retail clients
