Warehouse Associate
Department: Warehouse
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor/Manager
Position Overview
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders, maintaining organized inventory, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service to contractors and vendors while ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced wholesale HVAC and roofing distribution environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Accurately pull, stage, and verify customer orders for pickup or delivery
- Provide courteous, professional service to customers, vendors, and team members
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, including HVAC equipment, roofing supplies, and related products
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory and special-order shipments
- Prepare and stage materials for outbound deliveries
- Complete required shipping and receiving documentation, including obtaining customer/vendor signatures
- Process return materials in accordance with company warranty procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (tow motors), pallet jacks, hand trucks, and ladders
- Participate in company-sponsored product and safety training sessions
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior warehouse, distribution, or building materials experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly and work in varying warehouse conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
Salary : $16 - $18
