What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler/Forklift Operator position at OMEGA WAREHOUSE SERVICES?
We are a mid-sized warehousing business focused on customer service and quality. We are looking for a forklift operator and warehouse worker who is hard-working, team-oriented and detail focused. As a forklift operator and warehouse worker, you will be responsible for safely moving pallets in/out/around our facilities, picking orders, maintaining a clean work environment and doing any other tasks that help us achieve our weekly/daily goals. You will be working with a team of motivated, friendly and customer service focused individuals.
Responsibilities
- Unload materials from incoming trucks
- Locate and move pallets or crates for shipment
- Pick, palletize and ship orders
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and clean facility
Skills
- Proven experience as forklift operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination, able to repeatedly lift and move boxes
- Valid certification to operate forklifts
- High school diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
