Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a cookie shop clerk, where you will be the heartbeat of our operations! In this role, you’ll engage with customers, providing exceptional service and support while ensuring their experience is nothing short of fantastic. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our customers coming back for more!
This position is mainly for summer hire help but we would love to be able to keep you on staff into the fall if that works out. Our summer help must be willing to work some night shifts (we close at 10pm) as well as be available for 2 full weekends each month.
What you’ll do
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Process transactions accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Assist with cookie preparation to include scooping MANY dough balls, making glazes, assembling cookies - baking and decorating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly while ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
- Work closely with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and efficiency.
Basic qualifications
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor that engages with customers.
- Must be available to work days or evenings as well as weekends.
