The purpose of the position is to perform a broad variety of drafting, design, and work, including preparing CAD drawings, submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, permit applications and maintaining accurate and detailed records of project data. The employee is expected to exercise considerable judgment and initiative in the performance of all of the following job duties.
Essential Functions
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to stand for much of the day, with the ability to kneel/crouch/stoop, walk, and reach throughout the day. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment
Other conditions may include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware. Worker is subject to frequent lifting.

Physical Demands
This position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.
Work Environment
This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.

The purpose of the position is to perform a broad variety of drafting, design, and work, including preparing CAD drawings, submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, permit applications and maintaining accurate and detailed records of project data. The employee is expected to exercise considerable judgment and initiative in the performance of all of the following job duties.
Essential Functions
- Prepare rough and detailed graphic drawings based on preliminary concepts, sketches, system calculations, specification sheets, and other data
- Prepare project submittal and closeout documentation when required
- Coordinate with the other departments to complete detailed system designs
- Revise design drawings as required by provided as-built drawings
- Determine procedures and instructions to be followed according to design specifications and quantity of required materials
- Maintain active communication with engineers, contractors, project managers, and government agencies for any project-related issues or approvals
- Perform research, fieldwork, drafting tasks, and documentation system data as requested
- Other relative duties as assigned
- High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- Current and valid US driver’s license
- At least 2-4 years of relative experience
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, as well as use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variable
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
