The Converse Home is a private nonprofit senior community. Our assisted living and memory care community is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood in the southern end of Burlington. We have beautifully landscaped grounds that include large flower and vegetable gardens, a gazebo and many areas for our residents to enjoy being outside.

The Converse Home, a non-profit assisted living community located in downtown Burlington, is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to help us keep our home safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for our residents.
What You’ll Do
- Perform light maintenance tasks and minor home repairs as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
- Assist with painting, refurbishing vacated apartments, and maintaining common areas.
- Help with seasonal grounds care including mowing, raking, and snow removal.
- Support flooring and basic facility upkeep.
- Participate in the on-call rotation (one week per month, paid).
- Someone who is compassionate, patient, and enjoys working with seniors.
- A team player who’s flexible and ready to adapt to changing priorities.
- General maintenance experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and be on your feet for most of the day.
- Full-time (40 hours/week), weekday schedule with rotating paid on-call.
