Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow across production lines.
- Lead, mentor, and manage shop personnel to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
- Make proactive adjustments to production plans to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate staffing needs, including interviewing and hiring new team members as needed.
- Collaborate with project management and leadership teams to align production with project timelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials and safety equipment are readily available.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Operate forklifts and assist with material handling as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of production, staffing, and safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or construction environment.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams in a shop or industrial setting.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to visualize workflow and make real-time adjustments.
- Forklift experience required.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be reliable, career-driven, and eager to grow with the company.
