Key Responsibilities
- System Installation: Rough-in and finish plumbing for new residential homes, including water, waste, and vent systems.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and follow blueprints and builder specifications.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed work for accuracy and functionality.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with project managers, field supervisors, and general contractors.
- Material Handling: Manage inventory of tools and materials on job sites.
- Problem Solving: Address site-specific challenges and adapt to changes in plans or schedules.
- Clean Job Sites: Maintain safe and tidy workspaces throughout the duration of each project.
- Experience: 3 years in residential new construction plumbing.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or trade school a plus.
- Licensing: Plumbing license preferred, but not required.
- Skills:
- Proficient in plumbing installations, from rough to finish.
- Comfortable using all standard hand and power tools of the trade.
- Ability to read and understand construction documents.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors and in physically demanding environments.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
