Project Superintendent – Lead Southeast Commercial Construction Projects for Marolf Construction

Job Overview:

• Salary/Pay Rate: $85,000 - $90,000 per year (plus performance and project completion bonuses)
• Location: Mint Hill, NC (90% travel required across the Southeast U.S.)

You will serve as a crucial field leader driving quality, safety, and efficiency across commercial construction sites throughout the Southeast U.S. This role empowers you to operate with high autonomy while backed by the resources and culture of a tight-knit company. How You Will Make an Impact:

• Manage all daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects from initial site prep to final handover.
• Supervise subcontractors and field personnel to ensure strict adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Execute structured daily workflows to maintain momentum, solve unexpected site challenges, and prevent project delays.
• Maintain rigorous quality control and safety standards across every phase of construction.
• Coordinate directly with architects, engineers, city officials, and client representatives to ensure seamless communication.
• Track project milestones independently while delivering concise progress reports back to the main office team.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial construction supervision.
• Absolute willingness and ability to travel up to 90% of the time across the Southeast region.
• Proven track record of independently managing subcontractors and field operations on active job sites.
• Deep knowledge of commercial construction processes, building codes, and safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, and site coordination capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Strong familiarity with modern digital construction management software and reporting tools.
• Background in managing ground-up or fast-paced commercial construction environments.
• Bilingual a plus
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership of a project.
