Key Responsibilities
- Operate pile driving equipment, including drop hammer systems, for marine construction
- Install pilings for docks, lifts, and related marine structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, job plans, and layout designs
- Safely and efficiently work from barges, docks, and over water
- Assist in loading, transporting, and setting up pile driving equipment and materials
- Monitor and maintain proper alignment and depth of pilings
- Work with the construction team to align piling operations with project timelines
- Maintain safe and clean work environments in line with company standards
- Operate a boat safely and efficiently when transporting crew or materials
- Assist with other carpentry or marine construction tasks as needed
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marine construction or related heavy equipment operation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with drop hammer pile driving is strongly preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience operating a boat safely is required
