Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily tasks for the electrical crew to ensure safe, code-compliant installations.
- Interpret and execute plans, blueprints, and specifications with precision.
- Maintain and adjust project schedules; ensure jobs stay on time and within budget.
- Inspect all work for quality and adherence to project requirements.
- Manage inventory, materials, and jobsite documentation.
- Serve as the liaison between electricians, project managers, and other trades.
- Train and mentor apprentices and electricians in job skills and safety practices.
- Enforce all safety regulations and site protocols; conduct safety briefings as needed.
- Troubleshoot system issues and support problem resolution on-site.
- Perform electrical work as needed, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical construction (commercial/industrial).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Journeyman’s license preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting NEC and local codes.
- Experienced in lighting systems, power distribution (up to 5kV), fire alarms, grounding, and more.
- Familiar with NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 (preferred).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Capable of managing teams and interacting with project management and site personnel.
