How You Will Make An Impact
- Study project plans and collaborate closely with our internal CAD modeling professional.
- Establish precise field control points for concrete forms, masonry footings, framing, and fencing.
- Operate total station equipment to execute accurate layouts for plumbing, electrical, and anchor bolts.
- Double-check all field layouts and verify that form setters read stakes correctly.
- Inspect site conditions against blueprints to proactively identify and resolve layout conflicts.
- Audit on-site grade percentages to guarantee strict compliance with ADA standards.
- Coordinate daily with project superintendents and owners to maintain project momentum.
- Minimum of 10 years of layout experience, ideally within civil or public works construction.
- Bi Lingual Spanish (Fluent) REQUIRED
- Proven proficiency operating conventional or robotic total station equipment in the field.
- Demonstrated experience laying out concrete forms, masonry footings, and structural framing.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and cross-reference complex civil and architectural plans.
- Experience executing layout tasks for public school infrastructure or federal facilities.
- Advanced proficiency in BIM-to-field workflows or collaborating directly with CAD technicians.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior layout crew members or apprentices.
