How You Will Make An Impact
- Install and commission Data Acquisition Systems (DAS), inverter communications, and weather stations.
- Diagnose solar asset performance and communication issues remotely to schedule precise maintenance.
- Interpret complex single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for field assessments.
- Coordinate system integration with existing customer networks, cellular communication systems, and utilities.
- Perform rigorous QA/QC inspections and complete comprehensive commissioning documentation for clients.
- Interface directly with manufacturer technical support and internal project engineers to optimize networking architecture.
- Uphold strict safety standards by adhering to OSHA, NFPA 70E, and Lockout/Tagout protocols.
- Experience with communications, controls, networking, solar, or commercial electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Possession of valid OSHA 10 and NFPA 70E certifications.
- Ability to obtain an OSHA 30 certification within 90 days of employment.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Previous commercial solar communications, SCADA systems, or DAS experience.
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software platforms.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, or Renewable Energy.
