How You Will Make An Impact
- Transport heavy equipment and structural steel safely to project sites within a 300-mile radius.
- Execute the secure loading and unloading of industrial equipment and machinery independently.
- Assist with manual loading and unloading of raw steel material when auxiliary yard help is unavailable.
- Perform rigorous pre-trip and post-trip inspections on pickups, semi-trucks, and trailers.
- Verify all loads meet strict safety standards by inspecting tie-downs, chains, and straps.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues on semi-trucks to maintain vehicle uptime and road readiness.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) coupled with a clean driving record.
- Extensive field experience in heavy equipment and structural material hauling.
- Proven capability to handle, chain, and strap diverse industrial loads securely.
- Absolute willingness to work extended operational hours and adapt to changing weather conditions.
- Hands-on mechanical experience specifically troubleshooting or maintaining semi-trucks and trailers.
- Deep familiarity with securing raw structural steel and construction machinery.
- Established history of managing regional transit routes with high efficiency.
