The Opportunity
You will serve as a key technical force, driving civil design and municipal engineering projects across residential, commercial, and government sectors. This role offers broad exposure to all project phases, allowing you to bypass rigid corporate bureaucracy and directly influence design outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and local stakeholders to deliver practical, common-sense infrastructure solutions.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Design comprehensive engineering plans for residential, commercial, and municipal development projects.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, clients, and municipal boards.
- Manage end-to-end project workflows with an entrepreneurial mindset to maintain efficient schedules.
- Prepare technical reports, environmental reviews, and permit applications for regulatory approvals.
- Perform site assessments and coordinate field details to ensure design alignment with practical construction practices.
- Collaborate with survey and technical teams to integrate field data into robust design models.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Strong technical background in civil engineering principles and practical construction workflows.
- Proven track record of drafting detailed engineering designs and completing technical writing assignments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a self-motivated, proactive approach.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- 3 years of related work experience in civil or municipal engineering.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or active path toward licensure.
- Familiarity with land surveying principles and site development practices.
