The Customer Service Representative will play a critical role directly supporting customers, the outside sales team and suppliers. Responsibilities
- Process customer quote requests by obtaining all pertinent information regarding the job/ application and communicating with the corresponding suppliers to gather price, lead time, and any required technical data
- Input customer purchase orders into the company ERP system which are received via phone calls, emails, or portals
- Ensure supplier requirements are appropriately met during order entry such as drop ship requirements, distribution territories, order minimums, and shipping methods
- Collaborate with multiple PennAir departments to set up new part numbers, bills of material, and production orders within the company EPR system
- Correspond with customers and suppliers to address any after shipment issues that may occur such as damaged/ lost material, pricing discrepancies, or return requests
- Provide customers with accurate delivery information regarding open or past due orders
- Efficiently manage large amounts of communication between email, phone, and customer/ supplier portals to maintain detailed records of interactions
- 3 years' experience in customer service, account management, or inside sales related roles
- Excellent typing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience working with an ERP system; Acumatica experience a plus
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
- Highly detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Desire to work well in a team setting
- Reports to the Customer Service Manager
- Onsite position reporting to the PennAir Facility in York, PA
