The Concord Advisory Group, Ltd. was established in 1988 to provide independent investment advisory services to mid-sized institutions. Serving as a trusted advisor to the institutional community is our core business and allows for independence and objectivity in the decision-making process. With over $46 billion in assets under advisement our client base is almost exclusively non-profit, with a significant focus on working with healthcare organizations, foundations and endowments, religious organizations, and insurance firms. Investment consulting services include investment policy development, asset allocation studies, investment manager searches, ongoing manager due diligence and cost analysis. Independently owned and operated, the firm’s main office is in Princeton, NJ, with a satellite office in Orlando, FL. Concord currently employs 30 associates consisting of investment consultants, analysts and administrative personnel.  


Role Description

A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business administration, finance, accounting, economics required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the investment industry is required.

The Portfolio Administrator role offers a high degree of visibility both internally and externally, with regular interaction with senior members of the firm and leading investment managers. The administrator role has a meaningful impact on the success of the firm and our clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong professionalism, attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a deadline-driven environment. The ability to quickly learn and utilize industry-specific databases and Concord’s proprietary reporting system is required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

·        Professional verbal and written communication skills for daily interaction with senior members of the firm and industry investment managers

·        Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

·        Experience analyzing asset custody reports and reviewing content output for quality control

·        Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Sample of duties performed

The portfolio analyst is responsible for supporting approximately 15-20 client relationships under the supervision of an Investment Consultant.

·        Work closely with senior members of the client service team and the research team to facilitate manager transitions and onboarding of new clients

·        Monitor existing portfolio assets and review adherence to client’s investment policy statement

·        Portfolio rebalancing activities, including maintaining rebalancing spreadsheets, preparing trade documentation and drafting client correspondence

·        Data collection and analysis of performance, asset allocation, and cost analysis

·        Create quarterly and monthly performance reports

·        Stay informed on investment fund and manager developments held in client portfolios and communicate relevant updates internally

·        Communicate with investment managers and custodians on client-related activity
