all about. JOB SUMMARY: Primary responsible for delivering blood
products to customer locations in Chicago, IL and performing scheduled
blood pick-ups and deliveries at mobile and donor center locations
within that region. Could also cover Fox Valley, WI locations if hours
allow. SCHEDULE: - Part-time position, up to 19 hours/week - Variable
Schedule Depending On Blood Drives ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(other duties may be assigned): 1. Pick up blood at donor centers and
mobile drives as scheduled. 2. Delivers supplies to donor centers and
mobile drives as scheduled. 3. Delivers and returns blood products, to
include assigned STAT orders, to customer locations while providing a
high-level of customer service. 4. Returns trash and biowaste from donor
centers and deposits it in the appropriate place. 5. Identifies and
reports any routine or non-routine vehicle needs or issues and notifies
Supervisor, Inventory Management of additional maintenance needs. 6.
Maintains assigned vehicle in an appropriate manner to include washing
and vacuuming and ensuring gas tanks are filled as necessary. 7.
Prepares shipping boxes and shipping supplies as assigned. 8. Practices
safe and compliant driving practices at all times. 9. Performs special
projects as requested. 10. Complies with all policies and procedures as
outlined in the CBC Employee Handbook, CBC SOPs or directives. JOB
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: High School education, or equivalent
preferred. Valid driver\'s license with good driving record. Must be
self-motivated and possess the ability to organize daily work around
scheduled blood pick-ups and deliveries. Able to follow directions with
accuracy and urgency. Excellent customer service skills along with
prompt communication. Employee must be able to lift objects or materials
