Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure efficient cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of all areas.
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols aligned with industry best practices and safety regulations.
- Oversee industrial cleaning processes, including large-scale sanitation projects and specialized custodial tasks.
- Manage staffing schedules, provide training on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness standards in guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and other operational areas.
- Coordinate with management to optimize housekeeping workflows, inventory supplies, and manage janitorial resources effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping management with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for managerial oversight and customer service interactions.
- Experience with industrial cleaning techniques and laundry operations within hospitality or similar settings.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee janitorial operations while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety compliance.
- Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality or custodial services is highly desirable.
