What You'll Be Doing
Depending on your skills and experience, you may be responsible for:
- Operating industrial sewing, tape edging and mattress manufacturing equipment
- Sewing, finishing and assembling mattress components
- Setting up, adjusting and monitoring production machinery
- Loading materials and components
- Performing machine changeovers and basic adjustments
- Monitoring product quality and completing quality checks
- Identifying production issues and carrying out basic troubleshooting
- Following work instructions, production schedules and safety procedures
- Performing manual handling of materials and finished products
- Working with your team to safely achieve daily production targets
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area

Ideally, You'll Bring
- Previous tape edging, industrial sewing, upholstery, textile or manufacturing experience Experience operating production machinery or industrial sewing equipment Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail A strong commitment to quality and safety The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment A reliable work ethic and positive, team-focused attitude The ability to perform physical and manual handling tasks A willingness to learn different machines and production processes Forklift Licence (LF) desirable but not essential [assuming this is true operationally]
