What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dignitas Program Assistant position at The College of St. Scholastica?
Lead Mentor Position Requirements
- Work 3.5 hours a week throughout the academic year
- Maintain a good working relationship with the Dignitas director, which includes ongoing communication about roles and responsibilities
- Assist Dignitas director as assigned
- Periodically pursue special projects intended to improve the Dignitas program for faculty and students with instructor approval
- Keep up-to-date with program details and expectations
- Know about the work and services of CSS offices, student services, and other campus resources
- Be available to classroom Mentor/Teaching Assistants for questions and support
- Organize and conduct all required MTA meetings and training sessions
- Communicate weekly with classroom MTAs through email about upcoming events
- Coordinate sites and details for the participation of Dignitas classes in Community Day
- Participate in t he facilitation of the Dignitas course-related elements during Welcome Weekend
