What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Experience Coordinator position at The Collective Hospitality Group?
he Schedule (School-Year & Summer Peak)
We designed this role to support the local community and school-day schedules. We offer a consistent mid-day window with a "hard stop" to ensure you are home for your family.
- Core Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Summer Peak: During our busiest months (July & August), there is the possibility for additional weekend hours for those interested in extra shifts.
- Flexibility: We understand RSU 21 "Late Start Wednesdays" and early release days—we are happy to work with you on a schedule that keeps your family first.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-energy, local-savvy Guest Experience Coordinator to be the operational heartbeat of our boutique coastal property. This is a "boots-on-the-ground" role where you ensure the property is 100% ready for our guests' arrival. You’ll be the bridge between the morning turnover and the afternoon check-ins, making sure every detail is perfect.
If you love the Kennebunk area and take pride in transforming a beautiful space into a welcoming home for travelers, this is for you.
What You’ll Do
- The Final Audit: Walk through units after cleaning to ensure our high standards are met—from the perfect tuck of the linens to the "welcome gift" on the table.
- Experience Prep: Ensure all guest amenities are ready for the day. This includes prepping the "Adventure Gear" (bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas) and ensuring common areas are tidy.
- Guest Concierge: Assist guests who are checking out or arriving early. Provide them with "insider" tips on the best midday lunch spots or quiet beaches to visit while their room is being prepped.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with our maintenance and housekeeping teams to identify and solve any midday needs immediately.
- Surprise & Delight: Help curate special touches for guests celebrating milestones, using your local knowledge to source the perfect treats.
Who You Are
- Detail-Oriented: You notice the small things—a crooked frame or a missing towel—and you fix them.
- A Local Expert: You know the Kennebunk/Wells area and love sharing your favorite "off-the-beaten-path" spots.
- Efficient & Proactive: You thrive in a role where you can manage your own time and "check off the list" before your shift ends.
- Reliable: You take pride in being the person the team can count on to ensure the property is "show-ready."
Requirements
- Consistent availability during the 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM window.
- Ability to work through the summer season (May–Oct).
- Physical ability to navigate the property grounds and perform property audits.
- Reliable transportation to the Kennebunk area.
