The City of Coeur d'Alene, Streets & Engineering Department, is looking for temporary Street Maintenance Workers for the summer season!
We are looking for temporary Street Maintenance Workers to assist in meeting our summer-time mission. If you are looking for an excellent opportunity to get experience while serving the citizens of Coeur d'Alene, we want to hear from you!
40 hours per week for up to five (5) months, $13.00 to $15.00 per hour depending on experience.
Open until filled. This position could lead to a full-time career opportunity within the City of Coeur d Alene organization.
The City of Coeur d'Alene Streets and Engineering Department maintains over 250 center lane miles of road and right-of-way including asphalt and pothole repair, 64 signalized intersections, 12,000 street signs, and 500 permanent pavement markings. Other maintenance responsibilities performed include the Drainage Utility maintenance (swale restoration, hard pipe cleaning and videoing), sidewalk repair and replacement to bring into Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance as well as support of the many Special Events such as 4th of July, Car d'lane, Ironman, Street Fair.
