Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, developing, and supervising treatment plans for children with developmental disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles, patient care, and medical documentation. The BCBA will work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure the highest quality of care. Our BCBAs are strong leaders that embrace a hands-on approach to therapy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and family members, to provide holistic support for clients.
- Train and supervise staff in implementing behavior intervention strategies and data collection methods.
- Provide ongoing support and education to clients and their families regarding behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Lead ongoing trainings for staff.
- Supervise RBTs and student analysts per BACB guidelines, as assigned.
- Work directly and indirectly with children with varying disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Fulfill weekly/monthly billable expectations.
- Develop a welcoming and fun learning environment that maintains client dignity and confidentiality in all that you do.
- Travel within Tustin, Irvine, Lake Forest, CA and surrounding areas.
- Travel and work in various settings, including office, client homes, community locations, schools/daycares/etc.
- Attend special events (e.g. resources, fairs, community events, career fairs, etc) as assigned. May occur on weekends and/or evenings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) certification in good standing is required.
- An active NPI number.
- Master degree (or higher) in applied behavior analysis or related field.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Suite and Google Suite programs.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and the ability to conduct assessments effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient care.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and medical records management.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating patience and empathy towards clients.
- Compassionate and patient.
- Thorough, detail oriented, and solution focused.
- Valid CA driver's license and auto insurance.
- Negative TB test results within a year of start date.
- Ability to pass FBI & DOJ livescan background check.
- Ability to provide evidence of TDAP, MMR, Covid, and additional vaccines as needed.
- Reliable source of transportation.
For this position we’re offering a competitive annual salary of $75,000 to $95,0000 depending on experience.
